Neonatal DAO

Healthbeginsbeforethecrisis.

We are building an ecosystem around the moments that shape human health — from reproductive health and pregnancy through to birth and newborn care.

Healthier families. Stronger communities.

01 / 04

There is no shortage of information.

Thousands of studies a year. Guidelines in every country. Tools, devices, protocols, training. The knowledge to prevent most of what goes wrong already exists.

02 / 04

It is just scattered.

The finding sits in a journal. The device sits with a manufacturer. The training sits with a hospital. The parent sits at home at 3am with a search box.

03 / 04

What is missing is connection.

Not another study, another app or another guideline — a structure that puts the people who know, the people who build, and the people who need it in the same place.

04 / 04

That structure is what we are building.

One ecosystem across research, education, care, professionals and community, so the distance between a discovery and a bedside stops being measured in years.

The ecosystem

One ecosystem.
Connected for greater impact.

Five areas, one shared mission — bringing together the people, knowledge and technology working towards better reproductive, maternal and newborn health.

01

Research

Funding and coordinating work on the questions that have gone unasked because nobody's budget owned them.

02

Education

Turning what is known into something a parent, a student and a clinician can each act on.

03

Care & Technology

The instruments, software and services that carry a finding from a paper to a bedside.

04

Professionals

Midwives, nurses, clinical officers and doctors, with somewhere to put what they already know.

05

Community

Parents and families, as participants in the work rather than an audience for its results.

What we're building

Real solutions.
Lasting impact.

From research to real-world outcomes — turning knowledge and collaboration into the tools, content and initiatives that make a difference.

01

Products

Tools for better health outcomes.

Built with the people who will use them, and released for the ecosystem to extend.

02

Publications

Evidence, insights, progress.

Open by default, and written to be read by more than the field that produced them.

03

Education

Learning for healthier futures.

Courses and curricula for clinicians, students, and the families they serve.

04

Research

Discoveries that drive change.

Directed at the gaps the ecosystem surfaces, not at the ones that are easiest to fund.

05

Initiatives

Collaborations for greater reach.

Partnerships that take something proven and put it where it is needed.

The health journey

Human health doesn't begin at the hospital.

It starts earlier. From reproductive health to newborn care, every stage matters.

0107

Reproductive Health

Before anything begins, the conditions are being set.

Screening, access, information, and the freedom to plan.

0207

Fertility

For many, the hardest part is the part nobody sees.

Cycles, investigation, treatment, and the weight it carries.

0307

Pregnancy

Forty weeks, and the decisions that shape both lives.

Antenatal care, nutrition, monitoring, and knowing what is urgent.

0407

Maternal Health

The mother is a patient too, and often the forgotten one.

Anaemia, pre-eclampsia, mental health, and recovery.

0507

Birth

Hours in which most of the risk is concentrated.

Skilled attendance, referral, and what happens when it goes wrong.

0607

Neonatal Health

Twenty-eight days that decide a great deal.

Warmth, feeding, infection, and the signs that move fast.

0707

Newborn Care

The first year, and the habits formed in it.

Growth, immunisation, development, and support for the people doing it.

Frequently asked

Got questions?

Find quick answers to common questions about Neonatal DAO, $TENDER, and how to get involved.

What is Neonatal DAO?

An ecosystem built around the moments that shape human health — from reproductive health and pregnancy through to birth and newborn care. It connects research, education, care and technology, professionals and community so that work in one reaches the others.

What is $TENDER?

The connective layer. It is how participation across the ecosystem is coordinated — access to knowledge and tools, and a way to back the work. It is not an investment product and it is not a share in anything.

Which blockchain is $TENDER on?

BNB Chain. Signing in creates an account for you from an email address, so taking part does not require knowing any of that.

Do I need a crypto wallet?

No. An account and a wallet are created for you when you sign in with an email, a phone number or Google. There is nothing to install and no seed phrase to write down.

Who is this for?

Researchers, clinicians, builders, and parents. The whole premise is that those four groups currently work at a distance from each other, and that most of what is lost is lost in the gaps between them.
